Jimmy Kimmel Live is known for many things and one of the best is their “Lie Witness News” bit. The premise is incredibly simple. Go find people who have no idea what they are talking about and put them on camera. I’m sure that some people knew that Kimmel’s crew was f’ing with them, but that doesn’t make for good TV, does it?
In this edition, The Jimmy Kimmel Live crew took to the streets of Hollywood Boulevard to ask people about the different Oscar nominees, both real and incredibly fake.
“What did you think of Helen Mirren’s performance as Cate Blanchett, as Judy Dench, as Larry Bird in Birdman? Was it powerful?”
