Rex Ryan has introduced a new drill to the New York Jets training came.
Dizzy Bat Race.
Yep, that same dizzy bat race that is used to have drunken fun is now being used to train professional athletes. For what, though? Perhaps Rex wants his players to be able to play concussed? This would certainly be the drill to prepare them.
Or they’re just having fun.
“Just trying to get the energy level boosted up,” Ryan said after practice, via NJ.com. “Get guys smiling, laughing and feeling good. Now you are ready to work. It’s just like in the classroom: You want to get people to smile; you get more out of them when they are attentive. I thought we would break it up just a little bit and start with that drill.”
I still think it’s concussion practice…
