Ohio judge orders defendant cannot return until his mouth is taped shut

Youngstown, Ohio Judge Elizabeth Kobly wasn’t in the mood to take any shit last week.  Duniek Christian found that out the hard way.

Christian was appearing before the judge for obstructing justice and a traffic offense and was a little upset that he was getting a bench trial instead of a jury trial.  So much so that he was shouting expletives when addressing the judge.  The judge held him in contempt repeatedly and when it was all said and done, he had racked up 230 days in jail…just on contempt. 

In addition to the 230 days, the judge ordered that the defendant not return to court until his mouth is duct taped shut.
