I’ll be the first to admit I hate Michigan with a burning passion usually reserved for mustard. I will also admit that this song is pretty damn funny and creative. These guys have taken the hit song by the Black Eyed Peas “Let’s get Retarded it Started” and turned it into a homage to there quarterback, Denard Robinson. Robinson, who in the first 6 games of the season has amassed a jaw dropping 2,000+ total yards, is on everyones radar for the Heisman Trophy. These guys here obviously think of him pretty highly and why shouldn’t they? Michigan fans haven’t had anything to cheer about since knocking down Florida in the Capital One Bowl in 2007. Although I don’t expect Denard Robinson to keep up the momentum he has created early this season (stats from this past Saturday help support that theory; 86 rushing, 215 passing, 3 INTs, 2 TDs), I will give credit where credit is due. This kid is a phenomenal footballer even if doesn’t know how to tie his shoes. Warning, some of the lyrics are NSFW.
