Welcome to the 76th edition of the Thunder Treats Podcast with DiNunz, Lydell and the one and only Country Club Bill. Was he invited? No. Did he bring beer? Yes. And everyone in the English speaking world knows that if you bring beer to a location, you can stay. Also, DiNunz went to the Pub and watched the soccer game, so he was drunk and useless.
Sorry if we are out sorts during this episode. We just watched the USMNT lose a heartbreaker to Belgium after two periods of extra time. They came up one goal short and are now heading home. Julian Green scored for the U.S. and that’s pretty impressive considering he is only 19 years old. Even more impressive was goalkeeper Tim Howard’s record breaking performance. Sixteen times he saved goals for the U.S.
Sixteen.
The NBA Draft was last week and it was pretty uneventful in our eyes. Yeah, the Cavs took Andrew Wiggins first overall but the rest of the draft pretty much went off without a hitch. Speaking of the Cavs, they also locked down their two-time all star Kyrie Irving to a max contract of five years, $90 million.
We also include a little bit of NFL news regarding Johnny Football and Aldon Smith.
PLUS, we are back with another round of Urban Dictionary Trivia and again, we did not read the definitions before hand so they might be a little graphic. But I’m sure it’s nothing you can’t handle.
